Winter Fun
I headed up the hill to fill my bird feeders, not realizing that our six inches of snow/sleet has iced over. After slipping and falling, I slid all the way down the hill. Ooops.
So I did what any redneck would do — I went back in the house to get John and a couple of cardboard boxes. We had a great time “sledding” on the hill this afternoon. It’s so slick that we really didn’t need sleds, saucers or any other implements of winter; just something to keep our backsides dry, lol. I can’t believe the snow has stayed so long… 5 days so far!
BTW, it was 35 degrees today; a real heat wave!
