I Guess We’re Off Then…
I got up around 5:30am to get ready and pack a few final things. John got up around 6am to shovel the driveway. It looks like we got about 4 - 6 inches, depending on where you measure. Our road has been plowed — but then, it’s a dairy route so it gets plowed early and often. If we can make it out to the main roads, we should be fine.
Destination? Charlotte, NC; where our “new-to-us” motorcycle is waiting. Once we’ve trailered it, we’ll be staying overnight with a friend of ours who lives about an hour away from the seller. Tomorrow we drive home and drop the bike off at the hangar, with the help of a couple biker friends. Hopefully John will let me post some pictures! (He’s been keeping the make/model a surprise.)
