Spring.. FINALLY!!
Spring is definitely here in full force. Actually, it’s almost been more like summer. I was able to dry some of my laundry out on the clothes line. Had to give our grass its first cut. We’ve got beautiful birds everywhere, and my Pink Dogwood is starting to bloom. I opened the pool yesterday afternoon. The water is not nearly warm enough for swimming (47 degrees), but I got the pump going and put some chemicals in. There are lots of leaves on the bottom despite the cover, but I think I’ve got most of them out.
The temperatures have been in the 80’s since Saturday. I was hoping to have some veggies planted this year, but I don’t know if I’ll have the time. I may try to get that done this coming weekend.
And nothing in the world smells quite as wonderful as a cotton blanket that’s been dried out on the line.
