Washing Windows
I used to think Martha Stewart was nuts. But then I found myself buying more and more issues of her “Living” magazine from the supermarket because the information in it actually makes sense. Now I’m a subscriber. A recent issue had a tutorial on washing windows. Instead of Windex and papertowels, the technique requires a sponge, a water & vinegar solution, and a squeegee. I tried it today.
The verdict: If you’re not washing your windows Martha’s way, you’re wasting too much time and money.
It was easy and fast. The windows are streak-free. John decided that he wanted to “play” too and commented that if he knew that washing windows was this easy he’d do it more often. Don’t spend tons of cash on a real window squeegee. I got one of the small shower squeegees at Walmart for around $2. It works great.
