Democrat Culture of Corruption
Soon after taking office as Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi started to pound the “Republican Culture of Corruption” buzz phrase into the ground. I’ve always wanted to start a series on the Democrat version but never took the time to actually do it. But Joe Biden’s comments this week need to be ready by everyone in the country; so here’s edition number one.
In an interview by the Washington Post on education this week Joe Biden had this to say about the differences in education outcomes between Iowa and Washington, DC:
There’s less than one percent of the population of Iowa that is African American. There is probably less than four of five percent that are minorities. What is in Washington? So look, it goes back to what you start off with, what you’re dealing with.
He went on to say:
When you have children coming from dysfunctional homes, when you have children coming from homes where there’s no books, where the mother from the time they’re born doesn’t talk to them as opposed to the mother in Iowa who’s sitting out there and talks to them, the kid starts out with a 300 word larger vocabulary at age three. Half this education gap exists before the kid steps foot in the classroom.
Joe Biden, Delaware Senator and Democrat Presidential Candidate told a news paper that Iowa children do better in school because they’re not black. He is also saying that black parents don’t talk to their children. Other than on blogs, where is the outrage?! The major media outlets have ignored this. The search results for “biden” on the L.A. Times website show nothing about these comments. Same thing for the NY Times. Biden’s camp has described it as a minor stumble.
The truth is that Biden has a history of making racist comments. When asked if he’s noticed more of an “indian-american” population in Delaware in recent years, his response was that
In Delaware, the largest growth of population is Indian-Americans, moving from India. You cannot go to a 7/11 or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. Im not joking.
And lest we forget, Joe Biden on Barack Obama:
I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, thats a storybook, man.
And here’s a classic; Joe Biden explaining how as a Northeast liberal he can compete against southern candidates:
Better than everybody else. You don’t know my state. My state was a slave state. My state is a border state. My state is the eighth largest black population in the country. My state is anything from a northeast liberal state…
Joe Biden is a Democrat racist who keeps getting swept under the carpet. He keeps showing his true colors over and over again. But where is the outrage? When are Al and Jessie going to picket and protest the Senate until Joe loses his job, Imus-style? This man is a Senator; a racist man who could be violating civil rights right now as we speak! Where about the marches, Jena-style? There won’t be any. The issue isn’t racist or not, it’s Democrat or not. That nifty little D-Del. next to his name will protect him from all forms of evil.
Trent Lott was forced to resign as Majority Leader of the Senate because of this one comment at Strom Thurmond’s 100th birthday party:
When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. Were proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldnt have had all these problems over the years, either.
Al Gore called the statement “fundamentally racist.” People everywhere were outraged. He didn’t call blacks stupid. He didn’t say that their mothers don’t talk to them from the time they’re born, and he didn’t say that they’re the reason that schools in D.C. suck. He made a nonsense compliment to Thurmond on his 100th birthday. And for that he was forced to resign. But there’s no outrage over Democrat Robert Byrd (D-WV) despite his leadership of the KKK.
Joe Biden is a racist, and it’s about time the Democrats started paying for it.
