Thursday Thirteen #3: Business Travel
1. The screaming child in seat 12B.
2. Pushy people who have to be the first to get their bags off of the belt.
3. People who hold up my exit of the aircraft because they stood in the aisle while everyone else was deplaning and didn’t think to get their bags down from the bins until it’s their turn to start walking.
4. Lonely hotel rooms.
5. Eating out every night.
6. Only getting to talk to John for 30 minutes a day.
7. Bad hotel pillows.
8. No A&E.
9. Guys who think they’re the world’s foremost pickup artists.
10. Getting hit on by a guy who thinks he’s the world’s foremost pickup artist when all I want is to eat my dinner and get the heck outta there.
11. Not being able to sleep.
12. Airport security.
13. Flight delays.

Business travel is tough! I can’t believe how many people are so clueless on airplanes. I hope you find something that fills the crummy gap with joy for you in traveling….

Screaming kids and pushy people are just as bad on non business trips too!
I can’t stand people who leap up from their seats the second the plane touches the runway and start getting their had luggage out of the lockers, even while the flight attendants are making announcements asking people to stay seated. Presumably if they don’t manage to get their bags first they never will, and they will be stuck on the plane forever!

You reminded me of all the reasons I hate flying. My last trip was to the UK and it was miserably cramped for 8 solid hours…WHY? why don’t airlines care about their passengers?
