MythBusters: Totally Busted
So, like thousands upon thousands of other nerds who have have spent the last two years fighting on the internet over whether an airplane can take off from a treadmill, John and I waited with great anticipation for tonights episode of MythBusters. They were going to tackle the “Plane on a Treadmill” myth once and for all. We watched .. and watched .. and watched .. and — nothing. Zip. Lots of lame “Point Break” myths. But no plane on a treadmill. Not even a little plane and a little treadmill. Discovery.com is still at this very moment advertising that it’s in the episode.
The internets have been set ablaze by the trickery. Totally. Not. Cool.
(Update 6am Thurs: It’s *still* on the schedule!)
