How Rude
I’m on a conference call right now with 49 other people. Some jerk is pecking away at their keyboard and ignoring the repeated requests that they put their phone on mute. How rude or self-centered do you have to be to not put your phone on mute when you’re not going to be speaking (or even paying attention, apparently) on a conference call?� Not having a mute button is not an excuse — it’s well known that *1 will mute your phone on our conference system.
I see way too many examples of rude behavior in my workplace on a daily basis. I think I’m going to have to post a list up. Could be fun.
