On To Lighter Subjects
Now that I’ve gotten the ObamaJama ranting out of my system (although I will have popcorn handy for that speech tomorrow), back to lighter subjects.
As you can see, the site is back up. The transfer went fairly smoothly although there were a couple of small bugs. I don’t have my photo gallery back up yet, but should by the weekend. The server seems a tiny bit faster now that Rivetbangers.com is gone, although I definitely didn’t get the performance boost that RB did.
Easter is coming up this weekend. It’ll be the first time since we’ve been married that the whole family hasn’t celebrated together. John and I will be spending the weekend with Mom & Dad, but April and the kids won’t be heading down until Wednesday — so we will miss them by *that* much.
Spring is slowly springing here. It’s still chilly (40’s and 50’s), but the tulips and daffodils are coming up. I will probably cut some of the grass on Friday since it’s been so long. I guess I should start planning out my veggie gardens too and get the soil turned over. This year I want to add some compost to it. Need to feed the rose bushes while I’m at it. And does anyone know how to handle a mole problem? We’ve got tunnels all over the yard!
