John + $$ = IFR
John took his IFR check-ride last week. It was a grueling four hours, but he passed!
That’s John with his instructor (JJ) and yes, a beer which is oh-so-carefully obscured by his brand new IFR certificate. JJ is the Chief Flight Instructor for the AOPA. He brought the camera, and the beer. And yes, that is our plane (Charlie) behind them!
JJ is supposed to be receiving a “Master CFI” certification at AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI this year. Unfortunately, circumstances prevent us from going to the show this year, so we won’t be there to see it.
But thanks, anyway, for getting him through the process alive, JJ.
