BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR…

It’s gotten very cold here.  Today’s high was 32°F, which is just a bit unusual.  We had our first snow forecast before Halloween (!) although the snow never materialized.  We had our first snow on Monday (11/17), but none of it stuck.  We had our second snow yesterday while I was in Huntsville, AL on business and some of it did stick.  I don’t ever remember having snow before Thanksgiving.

I have a feeling this is going to be a rough winter.

We’ll be at Aunt Ruby’s house for Thanksgiving this year — this will be the first year that I haven’t had it.  I’m a bit sad about that.  But we should have a great time with the rest of the family in Delaware.

Our tree goes up and the house starts getting decorated next weekend.  I’m really looking forward to it this year because, for the first time in a while, John is looking forward to it too.  I’ll have to post some pictures as the work gets underway.
