What a Beautiful Spring Morning
Today is my day off, so I’m sitting here in the office with the window open, catching up on college homework and email. I’ll probably play Anno Venice at some point too. The dishwasher is running and I’ll get some laundry done too, later on. We just took a power hit, which did not make me happy — I lost some of my work on the Software Assurance magazine article I’m writing.
But the window is open and the bird feeders are full of seed. There’s a flock of cardinals on the dogwood tree, and flowers are starting to poke up out of the cold soil. Time to start planning out my vegetable gardens and preparing the beds. Welcome, Spring!!
(Yes, I know spring doesn’t really start until tomorrow, but I’m enjoying it TODAY!)
