Moving, moving, moving!

Anyone who has stopped by recently is painfully aware that my blog hasn’t been updated in FOREVER.  I’ve sat down to do it quite a few times, but each time I log in and get a barrage of notices that I need to update this, and that widget is no longer supported, and a handful of others.  Just the mental overhead associated with THINKING about updating everything has pretty much stopped me from doing it.  It was easy when I had all the time in the world to completely rebuild everything after a bad widget blew up the blog database, but I just don’t have the time for it anymore.  Adding photos to my blog is a big pain in the butt too since my Wordpress install keeps wonking up its filesystem permissions so that I can’t use its native photo storage and linking — instead I have to:  1) resize them, 2) upload one at a time to Gallery, 3) individually look them up and link them.   And Gallery is old and crusty (and probably full of vulnerabilities by now), too.

Which brings me to …. I’m moving.

I’ve had nothingnoteworthy.wordpress.com since 2006.  In fact, there are about three posts there right now …. from 2006, LOL.

Over the next couple of weeks  I’m going to be migrating all of my content over there.  Once I’m done, I am going to think about whether I want to direct my domain name there or just let it drop since I don’t even use it for email.

So, head OVER THERE from now on.
